Pat White of the Miami Dolphins received a head injury during today’s game, after replacing starting quarterback Chad Hennes. Chad Henne suffered an eye injury in the first quarter, and had to leave the field. New England Patriots player Wes Welker injured his knee during today’s game with the Houston Texans.
Tyler Thigpen wasn’t expecting to play today. He’s the Miami Dolphin’s third string QB and only recently joined the Miami squad this past Fall. Tyler was probably just as surprised as other Dolphins fans when he was called on to finish today’s game against Pittsburgh. And he was almost a hero.
