Jamie Jungers probably didn’t hear Kathie Lee Gifford talk to NBC’s ‘Today’ Show viewers as the admitted Tiger Woods mistress was leaving the New York building yesterday (December 11) after her exclusive interview. Yet, if Jungers did hear the morning show host’s final words on her subject, things would have turned out even more interesting than the actual interview.
Jamie Jungers appeared on the ‘Today’ show this morning, talking about her reported affair with professional golfer Tiger Woods. The very intense interview brought up a lot of relationship questions as well as remarks from Jamie Jungers that she never received cash for her Tiger Woods affair.

However, the fireworks didn’t really start until after the interview. When Jungers left Kathie Lee Gifford spouted off in a not-so-friendly manner about the just-interviewed guest.
“I often don’t tell tales out of school, but whatever,” Gifford said on-air. “[But] it took three people to get Jamie dressed, and she was very rude to the makeup artists, and ended up doing her own makeup … I’m sorry, this is a woman who needs to learn some manners.”
Overall, reporters are starting to resent the idea of covering not one, but more than ten reported mistresses, in a situation where the primary player responds through lifeless website comments that are only occasionally updated.
And, considering Gifford’s past history, it isn’t surprising the professional interviewer put Jungers’ actions on the table for viewers to know and digest. No offense to Kathie Lee, as she didn’t play the hide game when her life was turned upside down by husband Frank Gifford’s indiscretions, but those off-the-cuff comments seem unfair to Jungers who wasn’t given the opportunity to defend herself at the time.
